A Summer Engagement Session at Beckley Creek Park

Beckley Creek Park is one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions, and not just because I live two minutes away! The park offers such a diverse array of scenery, from open fields and rustic bridges to shaded paths and hidden gardens. Each section has its own unique charm, allowing every couple’s session to feel fresh and distinctive. For Alex and Ben, we started in a little “secret garden” where delicate white wildflowers were in full bloom, adding a soft, ethereal touch to their photos. They chose two outfits for their session. They started with a more casual look and then switched to a dressier outfit for our second location. The second location was a spot at Beckley that I love. It is right by a picnic area but the light that comes through the trees is incredible.

These two lovebirds are tying the knot this October at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with them! If their engagement session was any indication, their wedding day is going to be filled with love, laughter, and countless beautiful moments.
