Brian and Alissia’s fall wedding at Oxmoor Farm in Louisville was truly one of my favorites from last year, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you!

Their special day was beautifully documented by our associate team, Brittani and Emma. While I wasn’t able to be there in person, editing the photos afterward made me feel like I was! The images perfectly capture a blend of classic wedding portraits and candid, documentary-style moments. This is exactly the balance we aim for with our photos. We want our couples to have all the essential shots from their day, but also to be able to relive every joyful, emotional, and fun moment as it naturally unfolded.

Brian and Alissia are the kind of couple who truly enjoy just being together. That story was told in every photo from their day. Even though they described themselves as a bit camera shy, you’d never know it—they were completely in the moment, and their connection is so genuine. Their close bond with family added so much heart to the day, too. Alissia’s brother officiated the ceremony, and her mom made homemade tiramisu for every table at the reception—just one of the many personal touches that made their wedding so special.

About Oxmoor Farms

Oxmoor Farm, located approximately 8 miles east of downtown Louisville, Kentucky, is a historic estate that offers a unique glimpse into the state’s past. Established in 1787, it served as the home of five generations of the Bullitt family, influential figures in Kentucky’s early history. The original section of the house, built in 1791, was expanded over the years, with additions in 1829 and the early 1900s, transforming it into a Gilded-Age estate. The property features beautifully landscaped gardens designed in 1911 by Marian Cruger Coffin, one of the first female landscape architects in the country.

Today, Oxmoor Farm serves as a private venue for events, including weddings. Its historic charm and scenic surroundings provide a picturesque setting for couples seeking a distinctive backdrop for their special day.
