Good morning, y’all! Sam and Mckenna’s engagement session in downtown Louisville Kentucky is what we’re talking about on the blog today! So if you didn’t know, now you do, but Sam is my youngest brother. I am the only girl in our family and have three brothers! Growing up was a little tricky but looking back, I wouldn’t change it! Now I get to have three sisters and also get to skip that terrible pre-teen portion of growing pains!

Sam and Mckenna are getting married next weekend at Mellwood Art Center in Louisville Kentucky. Mellwood is a really neat venue with industrial vibes all around it. They have several rooms available varying in intimate celebrations to the whole shebang! They also have an open vendor policy which means you can bring in whoever you’d like to make your day exactly how you desire! I will be in the wedding this time so I will not be photographing all of it ( just some details, getting ready and their first look) but I have an incredible associate team who will be taking care of them. I am so excited to be able to celebrate these two and be able to enjoy their day. This is the last sibling of our family to get married so it is pretty special for us!

Ok, now back to their engagement session! They chose downtown Lou for their engagement session and the sun was absolutely gorgeous for their golden hour session. We did a good amount of their engagement session at the belvedere which is one of my favorite spots downtown for sessions. It allows you to get semi-rooftop vibes, a view of the water & a cool downtown city view! The only downside to the session? A little birdy decided to rain on our parade(if you know what I mean). Thankfully it was as we were leaving but still, gross.
