Happy Friday, everyone!! Todays blog post is Ruth + Grants Epic Elopement in Maine! Their wedding was such an amazing experience for me since it was my first destination wedding & first wedding close to where I grew up! I actually have reduced travel fees to all of New England since I not only love the area but I also love seeing family and old friends! June 2022 was a busy month for me but I was so so excited for this day! I flew into Boston a couple days prior, visited some friends and family, acted like a tourist and even got to stay in an awesome mountain hotel that had stunning views!

Ruth and Grant said their vows with beautiful mountains behind them. Ruth’s florals were a mix of dried and faux florals which was perfect for their day. I loved that each set of parents said a few words to them and then they exchanged their own vows. They actually surprised their family that this was actually not their wedding as they had been married a few months prior to their wedding. ( Just a week after we took their engagement photos in Pennsylvania!) They chose to do a bunch of different kinds of donuts- I still dream about the strawberry ones- and got to celebrate with their family at a beautiful rental home. I really loved capturing every moment and feel so privileged that I was able to be there.
