We started the day with them getting ready at Whitehall House and Gardens. The house is believed to have been built in mid 1855 but was recently refurbished in the 1990s. The inside of the house is in incredible condition with beautiful rooms. We did not get to use all the rooms as much as we could’ve but that will certainly be my next goal when I am there next!! The gardens are gorgeous and kept meticulously by the groundskeeper. Most wedding receptions take place under a white tent in the gardens which makes for a perfect location for a garden party wedding! Whitehall is tucked away off Lexington Rd in Louisville Kentucky.
Their ceremony took place at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville Kentucky. This church is one of the prettiest ones in Louisville and is very bright inside which makes for beautiful ceremony photos. Cathedral of the Assumption is located right in the middle of downtown Louisville which makes for a great central location for a wedding ceremony.
Some of my favorite parts of the day included hearing the toasts from friends and family- including Lindseys dad.
