It’s Wedding Wednesday and this week we are featuring Kyle and Gracie’s wedding at the Gillespie! They had a classic late summer wedding at the Gillespie in Louisville Kentucky and I am so excited to share more with you guys!

Technically their wedding was in September which I consider fall but the warm temps of this day felt more like summer so, I’ll say it was late summer! We had a couple hiccups on their day but still had the BEST DAY!

The Gillespie is located right in the heart of Downtown Louisville Kentucky. Living in Louisville is so neat because you truly have rural, downtown, suburbs etc, all in one city! The Gillespie is a great venue for any couples who are looking for a traditional ballroom feel! Since it is located in downtown, it is a block away from city hall and the county clerk building which is a beautiful back drop for photos as well. We did a majority of their portraits over there and I just love how everything flowed together. Photographers who are worried about portrait locations, check it out to make sure you get that pretty natural light!

Gracie and Kyle are some of the sweetest people I have ever met and are SO fun! One of my favorite things at weddings are hearing toasts and I just loved Gracies moms. She mentioned how as the mom, she doesn’t get to walk her down the aisle and have a dance so she wanted to give the welcome speech and I felt that! I loved hearing about who Gracie is as a person and loved hearing how Kyle was the perfect partner for Gracie. I loved being part of this day and capturing these photos they can hold onto forever!
